On Tuesday 9th February 2016 the Express & Star published an article highlighting the positive impact our schools coaching projects are having on the community. The popular Black Country newspaper had been following our success via the social media channels, Twitter and Facbook, and noticed a recent project with Oldbury based school, Oakham Primary.
Working alongside grass roots organisations such as, The Golf Foundation, Villa in the Community and Sport Birmingham, GL GOLF Academy are now coaching in approx. 30 local schools, reaching around 800 children per week! Since the Express & Star published their article a further 5 new schools having been in contact to set up projects.
