How PGA Coach, Greg Lynch has helped my game with the aid of video.
I approached Greg with only a couple of months of golf experience under my belt. Through a combination of drills and on the course coaching Greg has improved my game beyond recognition. His patient and flexible approach to coaching has enabled me to find methods – both technical and psychological – that suit my game and have revolutionized my swing. Furthermore Greg’s use of video capture and its email submission to me with voice over notes enables me to really see the aspects of my game that we are trying to improve. I would recommend Greg to any golfer seeking to cut their scores regardless of their ability or time in the game.
Initial Golfer Assessment lesson with Greg Lynch at Wast Hills GC
I went to Greg after not touching my clubs for over 2 years. In my first lesson Greg evaluated my current style and formed a structured plan for me to follow. I went away feeling like I had set out my intentions for the season and although there was little coaching in the evaluation I was hitting the ball much better in my first practice session! When setting out my plan Greg suggested 1 hour lessons on a monthly basis, rather than 30 minutes weekly. This made my plan affordable and allowed me time to practice between lessons which was a great help with my busy schedule. Greg films the parts of the lesson he wants you to work on and then emails the capture to you with notes, a great tool when deciding what area of your game to work at improving and I felt that for this to be included in the cost was great value for money.
16 handicap member of Kings Norton GC
Greg is a knowledgeable golf professional and teacher who communicates very clearly and positively. He gives very good value for money and will go the extra mile to help out. He makes use of the latest video technology as well as more traditional methods to demonstrate teaching points. I would recommend him wholeheartedly.
Regular attendee at Greg Lynch’s unique tuition and playing days away.
Since engaging with Greg I have been fortunate to have been able to attend several of his golfing away days, including most notably two coaching and playing days situated in the grounds of a country estate dating back to the 1700’s and the standard of golf course was as much a delight to play as it was challenging! The format of these golf days is both beneficial and incredibly good value for money, with refreshments on arrival followed by a morning of golf tuition, and let’s face it you can never have too much tuition! The practice facilities were ideally geared to facilitate the tuition and the morning was excellently split to enable all aspects of club tuition to take place, from honing the drive, to perfecting that pitch, not to mention having a very useful opportunity to get your hand in on the putting greens. After a spot of lunch it is then time to venture out onto the course itself, and, being of championship quality, it certainly provides ample opportunity to put the morning’s tuition to the test. A great chance to have a fun day out and meet some new people; I would heartily recommend these experiences to anyone.
Team building event for work colleagues
Having attended a few group lessons of Greg’s I thought I’d ask if he would do a sort of team building event for my colleagues at school. Greg offered 1 ½ hours coaching all areas of the game, finishing off by playing 9 holes on the course and a glass of wine in the clubhouse after! Everyone that attended loved the day; it was great fun, even for those who had never played before!
Tuition holiday to the Montecastillo Resort
I had a fantastic time on this tuition holiday to Montecastillo. I’ve not done anything like this before but I’ll certainly be doing this again! Greg organised everything for us, and the all inclusive option we had worked really well, the only thing I paid for whilst we were there was a golf trolley. I thought to have unlimited golf and range balls was a nice gesture too. I took advantage of practicing in the sun during January and February to the extreme and will be doing it again in 2013!
